Cannon Beach, Oregon; We have arrived!

Saturday after breakfast, we headed to the big sandcastle contest. It was only about 5 blocks away, then aways on the beach, but by the time we got there, the kids were NOT impressed. They just wanted to play in the sand, not LOOK at the sand! I got to see a few before I gave in and we just hung out on the beach while the kids played! They played on the beach for over 6 hours!
In this picture Zack is using a dog leash to pull the Tonka dump truck with Harbor in it because he was "tired." Meanwhile, Koda was willing to walk to the end of the beach and back, if we would've let her!

This is one of the few I got to see! The details are amazing!

Logan, Scout & Harbor loved to play along the river that came in the inlet!

Skipper and Gilligan had just as much fun as the kids did! They chased sticks in and out of the surf. Skipper was so covered in sand! This picture doesn't capture it, but her eyes are so full of sand she could hardly see and her fur is CAKED in sand, and she's shaking, she thought she was so miserable! The funny part is, if you had thrown a stick at that moment, she would have forgotten her misery in a heartbeat, all because of her obsession to fetch things!

Harbor found this hill (that leads up the beach mansions) and the kids spent a good hour just climbing up and rolling down! This is Scout and Logan! Harbor actually started it though! Koda attempted too; she just ended up scooting down on her belly and loosing her pants in the process!

Looks like a fun trip! The kids look like they were having a blast. We'll be heading that way in a few months, but I'll be hoping for warmer weather. :)
