Yesterday was quite the day! Koda had tubes put in her ears . . . . I think I was more tramatized than she was! Thank goodness Grandma & G-mo's came to my rescue! The morning started early; grandma came to watch the boys; G-mos, Koda and I headed to South Sound surgery this morning at 6 a.m. She was the first procedure of the day, so that was good. Of course, she charmed everyone there! She was in such a good mood and was so funny when she took her "happy juice" before surgery! The nurse took her to the surgery room promising her stickers. Everyone said once she took the juice cocktail, she wouldn't remember much. The surgery to put in ear tubes, took only about 10 minutes and she woke up happy. She even remembered that the nurse promised her stickers! The drive home was a little rough, the anesthetic really wearing off, she cried and was inconsolable most the way home! G-mos had to sit in the back seat with her. She was grouchy all day yesterday but today is back to her spunky self! She will have to wear ear plugs for swimming and bathing which may be a challenge! Wish us luck!
