This past weekend was quite busy. For Zack's birthday we all decided to head up to the Sol Duc Hot Springs for a night of fun and camping. We left Saturday morning, got there, set up camp and spent the afternoon at the Hot Springs. We came back to the camp for hot dogs and then went for a hike around the area. Along the way we met a nice ranger who told us she was putting on a "seminar" at the amphitheater on fungus. We made it back from our hike just in time to enjoy the "fungus show." The kids loved it! She was a great "interpretive ranger" and used the kids as "props" throughout the talk! So much fun!
