Last Wednesday Koda and I met Harbor's class at Schilter's Pumpkin Patch in the Nisqually Delta. What a beautiful day for it too! I remember last year it poored and everyone was soaked, had fallen in the mud, and were not very happy by the end of the trip; this year the sun was so welcome!
Well, we started off at the petting zoo part, the kids loved petting the baby pigs, cows, chickens, lambs and goats!
Koda with the "first" pumpkin she chose. She must have picked up 10 different pumpkins, the next one she saw was always better than the one she had in her hands! By the end of the trip, she ended up picking out a little gourd!
The one stipulation for all the kids, was that they had to be able to carry their own pumpkin to the bus. I think Harbor is almost at his limit; doesn't he look so proud!
